<p>Decided to swap my 2.5" SSD for a faster NVMe version. While not officially supported, the X260 can accept NVMe drives, which improves performance (even 3x fold!) and reduces power consumption (barely, but it does)</p><p>You can buy the cable and board for such a mod cheaply - but without the mounting bracket. The whole assembly is very expensive, thus buying the cable/board separately and printing the tray might save you quite a few bucks!</p>
