11 week group project where we had to design a vehicle that would be released down a ramp (minimum two second travel time down) and end up at a higher point. The design was released using a ratchet magnet quick release system. It stored energy using two 1200N gas springs and transferred it to the wheels via a 1/256 gear ratio and two flywheels. Ended up getting 100% on test day!
