Thor's Hammer (Mjolnir) Full Sized- New Design

This is a new design for Thor's Hammer Mjolnir. This entire project was birthed out of the idea that I wanted to print this hammer in pieces and make some upgrades to some of the models already out there. You can find a very popular hammer design at this link. I actually used/adapted his pommel design for this design as it was a great design and easily adapted for this design : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1311108 However I found some potential issues with this design that I wanted to improve upon. The fixes are as follows: 1) The hammer in the above link was printed in 2 parts separated in the center. I decided to make it so the hammer is printed in 3 parts with the seam lines being where the hammer bevels down to the sides. This will help to make the noticeable seam lines minimal for less post clean up 2) The handle didn't separate the rings and the rod (for the handle) which caused some issue with support structures. I decided to make the rod and rings separate. This way you can use whatever rod you want (as long as it's 29mm diameter), and slide on the rings. These parts print much better in this way. 3) I made is so the handle sticks into the head of the hammer slightly and then has a cap placed on it and glued down. This will ensure a very tight and secure connection between the handle and the head of the hammer and provide a lot more gluing real estate. 4) The ornate panels on the sides of the hammer were initially baked into the hammer head and therefore there was no control over what orientation they were printed at. I decided to make these pieces separate so they can be printed flat on the bed and printed with better detail 5) I added a Triquetra into the design. I love this sort of image on the sides of the hammer, but if asked, I can make it so the hammer sides are flat and more like the movies. This design is built from the ground up to be a sort of kit to put together this hammer and to ease all of the printer issues that may arise. You may still need supports here and there, but all of the pieces are designed to use minimal supports, flat printing, and to allow for great alignment and assembly. It's still a work in progress currently and I'll update it as needed.
