Thread Textures - ACME Profile

These textures were created to fill a gap in the texture library for Autodesk Showcase 2015 which has no cosmetic thread textures. This image set includes the texture image, a normal map which is required by Showcase for the best results, and a "bump" or "displacement" map which may be used in other applications that support bump maps but not normal maps. The lines are not skewed as in other thread textures, so the texture must be rotated once it is applied to provide a helical wrap, but this works out well since the thread map can be scaled and rotated to provide threads of any size, and with any number of starts. This particular thread profile is designed to represent an ACME trapezoidal profile.
