Threaded Hose Barb pipe fitting for Hot Tub heater

I needed replacements for broken original pipe fittings that go into the Hot Tub heater. (240V6KW SSE-00-OH-OF 19400 0034 Watkins MFG Corp) Could not find anything that would fit. This was neither 3/4 nor 1 inch hose barb. So I decided to print this part. PLA cracked every time that I tried to install it. So then I switched to ABS. The ring right above the threads drips a little during print. I should probably change the design slightly so that it angles out. But I just wanted to get into my hot tub again, so I was in a bit of a rush. :) It occurs to me now that an adventurous printing person might try printing this upside down so that the flange edge would taper out. I didn't try this because I was worried about the part being top heavy and coming lose from the build plate. I modified the original attempt and made it so it flanges back in to the barb. I had one snap off when I tried to fit a cold hose over it and put too much stress on it. My theory is that this will give it a little more strength. ( I would also recommend using teflon tape on the threads, even tho this is plastic. *Carefully* tighten and do not over-tighten.) UPDATE - A friend recommended that I try printing the part in PETG. I did that and it was much stronger and much more resistant to cracking or breaking. I would recommend printing it with PETG. Oh, and definitely flip this thing upside down to print it. It comes out much cleaner and was not a problem. The OpenSCAD drawing requires a couple of libraries. I made use of the Threads.scad and hollowCylinder.scad library.
