A snap on adapter to allow upgrade from threaded rod to Lead Screws. I got 2 of these from Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PXIEK50?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00) also grabbed a pair of these (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H1LNX5A?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00) since the Lead Screw is slightly thicker than the Threaded Rod that came with the MakerGear Prusa Mendel Kit. Also needed 8x #4 x3/8in Pan head screws. I now have much smoother Z axis motion and I didn't have to remove more than the 2 Z axis stepper motors and threaded rod to install the replacement.
