Three head ultrasonic humidifier mister float

Three head ultrasonic humidifier mister float

I looked at a few ultrasonic mister designs, but all of them demanded some kind of foam element as a flotation device. Initially, I tried using foam, but it quickly degraded and became slimy. Since I'm trying to use my floats in a somewhat industrial context (raise the humidity in a mushroom tent), I wanted to avoid using materials that might allow for bacteria to breed. I redesigned my first float and came out with this. I set the infill to around 15-20%, I don't remember exactly, but this allows for enough air to be trapped inside for boyancy. I think if I needed to print it again, I'll remix this original design to make the air cavity slightly larger - if the cable applies pressure to the float, it may be submerged deeper than desired. I've attached the FreeCAD file needed for any future edits. Glue everything together - the lid being separate means you don't have to print a massive support structure, but if you want, you can combine them using the original file.
