This is the beginning of my automatic coil winder. the coil will to be fixed in the chuck. The idea is to set a number of windings via Control interface, hit Start and wait until your coil is wound.. Next part will be a motor mount with light barrier for measuring the revoltions. Last but not least, even if i prefer plain C on AVRs, I'll put it on a Arduino Nano + SainSmart Keypad with 1602 LCD.. May take some days since i never programmed Arduinos before.. XD Haven't yet printed it but will do right after I got my printer working.. Print Settings Printer: prusa i3 derivate Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 60 %, since it doesn't need to be extremely strong Notes: This is just what i configured in Slic3r, haven't yet printed it. I use PLA.. tell me what works better for the claws ;) Custom Section I think I have completed the chuck so far. Next is a motor coupling with integrated wheel encoder for a light brake. Electronics will work on basis of an arduino UNO and a sainsmart lcd keypad http://www.sainsmart.com/sainsmart-uno-1602-lcd-keypad-shield-v3-for-arduino-uno-mega-r3-atmel-avr.html I will do a new thing when it's completed (no matter if it works properly or not) , so hold on :-)
