Throttle control with potentiometer

Throttle control with potentiometer

thingiverse

This multi-part model is designed to make using a potentiometer more intuitive and fun for a video game or any other type of controller that requires a potentiometer. You also get more precise control, with the handle having the perfect amount of leverage to feel genuine in your hand and strong. I printed this out on my Anycubic Resin 3d printer, and the only other part you need is a bearing. The bearing is from an RC car, but you can get them here: https://shop.lcracing.net/products/l6207_pos=1&_sid=6dcc71f0c&_ss=r. The building process is also pretty simple, with dowels needed to assemble the central throttle part and glue for the rest. Keep in mind this is my first iteration of the project, and I am aware of the need for improvements. Finally, the hole in the front is for a led bar graph, which will display the potentiometer angle by the number of bars lit up. I hope you enjoy and thank you for taking the time to look at my work; I put a lot of effort into it!
