Visually similar to standard throttle pedal. For most cost effective and fast manufacturing design is as simple as I was able to made in frames of competition and usability / user comfort. 3 basic parts of pedal can be machined from materials like steel or aluminium, or can be made from plastic with high % of glass fibre by injection molding (for example PA 66 - 30% or 40% glass fibre reinforced) . In assembly flat spring is pushing upwards pedal to give tension, secure "0" position when it's not used, and to give nice feel under the foot when pedal is pressed. 40 degrees of rotation are assured by steel rood and cut-out in pedal main body which allows for only 40 degrees of movement. Cut out can have sleeve from PTFE for low friction. Sensor assembly is independent from pedal assembly, and is hold in place by 2 M5x30 bolts. Potentiometer takes reading directly from pedal axis, which have simple sliding bearings (brass in bearings can be replaced by PTFE).
