Potentiometer is clamped onto a sheetmetal formed / welded part, with the shaft from the Pedal passing through the welded tab on this first bracket then the other end passing through another formed sheet metal part at the other side. the 40 deg. dstops are incorporated into the pedal / shaft part, a return torsion spring is included in the shaft. The clamping plate to hold in the potentiometer is held on with nuts screwing onto threaded studs embeded into the first metal bracket.
