New Update. I have been trying to reproduce this Thrustmaster part. I can't find any good pictures or measurements for it. The only thing I could do was measure the tensioner arm it mounts to and the diameter of the tube it applies pressure to. The problem I have had a hard time solving is, my first designs don't apply any pressure to the throttle until you turn the thumb wheel a couple of times. I am a beginner I watched a couple of YouTube videos to learn how to use AutoCad so my knowledge and experience is very low. So, in my opinion, as you turn the thumb wheel to increase the pressure applied the tensioner pads curve changes, I have a very had time with compound curves. My MK2 design seems to solve this problem, at its mid point I increased the curvature giving the tensioner pad 2 curves AND I added some foam padding, the kind of padding used to reduce vibration for PC case fans, and I used Rod and Reel lub to lubricate the throttle. I do not feel and 'Sticktion', the MK2 design + foam padding applies enough pressure to the throttle throughout its range of motion. I am no longer recommending you use a rubber pad, use foam anti vibration padding. I just bought an old Thrustmaster Cougar Throttle. The tension/brake pad had dry rotted, the previous owner had wrapped the tension arm in duck tape to try and fix it. I got my calipers, and found a single pictures and made my own. So if anyone can send me a picture of this part I would be grateful because this is just my best guess by measuring with my calipers. 1 is 2.5mm thick the other 3mm thick, you have to sand them to get them smooth but I got really good results from the 3mm one
