Thrustmaster quick release helper ring with securing screw

A super simple locking helper including a securing screw, While most rings are based on hand force which can still fail from time to time, this one is intended to add a locking screw, nothing is better than a locking screw ! use it at your own risks ;) What do you need ? An M4 nut An M4x30mm hand screw.(like this one https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B08MXK6YC5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Place the ring on the existing thrustmaster ring. Securing hole must be aligned to the printed hole. Using a 4.5mm drill bit, drill through the locking ring and the thrustmaster locking ring to enlarge the thrustmaster ring hole in order to let the M4 bolt go through easily. Some wheels adapters (ie 3d printed ones) won't get securing screen aligned perfectly with the bottom of the adapter, in this case you can * Tighten the wheel remove the bold and nuts * Drill through the adapter into the wheel a few millimeters to get a nice spot for the screw to sit and lock the ring. * Eventually mark the position using a sharpie on the wheel so you know the perfect spot before tightening. * Reassemble ! This is intended to be a "perfect fit", if somehow your printer is not calibrated the same as mine you might want to scale the part a little larger or smaller depending of the result of the first print.
