Made some slight adjustments to the original files for my friends joystick. Used 3v Hall effect sensors and please note that the sensor body must not be touching anything to work properly. To achieve the clearance there is some ribbing on the inside of the shell that needs grinding out (is harmless and not seen) to allow room for the sensor body to sit properly. The body, when assembled, clicks into the place where the pot was and the shaft locks into the pivot cavity at the correct angle. I glued two 5x5x1mm magnets to the flats on the the hex shaped end of the shaft. Make sure to get the magnets in the correct place in relation to the flat on the shaft, which is at 90 degrees to it. Use hot glue or similar to fix the sensor and wires in place on the outside of the body with the base of the sensor flush to the inside of the back of the body.
