Thrustmaster T3PA Brake Spring Dampener Mod for T300 Simracing Wheel Set

This part is a spring dampener to modify the Thrustmaster T3PA brake pedal to add a bit more graduated resistance. I'm using this without of the conical rubber mod. To install: 1) Remove the screws securing the plastic bottom plate. Note – one of the screws is used to secure the dampener. Be careful of the wire connectors when removing bottom plate. It's best to disconnect them to make installation easier. 2) Remove the 6 screws attaching the brake pedal housing. You might need to scrape away the goopy locking compound. 3) Remove brake spring. 4) Remove bottom brake bring receiver that is held with a hex nut and washer. 5) Cleanup any grease. 6) Wedge in the dampener into the spring. I used pliers to "work" it in. 7) Use one of the screws holding the bottom plate to affix the dampener to the brake pedal housing. There is modeled reinforcement to accept this screw. 8) Reattach brake pedal housing. 9) Reattach the wired connections and reattach the bottom plate with the remaining screws. Printing: - I printed this in 195A TPU (I would like to try other materials) - Use 1 perimeter - 0% infill – There are additional internal support structure where needed so no infill is required - As with all TPUs, don't forget to dry the filament. After drying and noticed a lot more stringing after 12 hours of leaving it out. Would love feedback!
