Thrustmaster TMCS throttle afterbuner/AB detent Thrustmaster TMCS throttle afterbuner AB detent 3d print mod diy stl Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Nlp2WHORDw I've checked though Google/YouTube/Thingiverse for detent ideas, and most of them are with magnet or an extra part glued to the original body. However, I want a design to be removable, and restore the throttle unchanged like new. I also don't want the throttle to be "snap into" the detent position, which the magnet design looks like. I fly both AB jets & aircrafts without AB... I have so many requirements and none of the available ones fits all. Rumbert's design(https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4971388) inspired me, however it looks scarified the range a bit(like dead zone) and doesn't fully meet my need, so I have to design a new one on my own, and here it is... Feature: - No glue, no magnet, no drill on original body - Easily adjustable position after assembled - Quick disarm-able, allows you to switch to a non-AB aircraft right after an AB jet - The detent stops you from throttle increasing but not decreasing - Two way to throttle through the detent: push the safe trigger / use force and push all the way through Note: - The tolerance of the models(STLs) are designed for FDM printer with 0.4mm excluder, printing with 0.2mm layers. If your setup is different, it may not work perfectly. - For assembly, take out the original decorate rail rod on the right side, and screw back the bottom case. Then, assemble the parts ordered by the number of the file name. Extra parts needed: - M4 bolt and nut, 2 pairs -- they can be replaced if you don't have them (red parts in pic): make a lock pin at the "cap_tail" to replace the bolt there; two position "blockers" over the rail to trap the detent if you don't have bolt to tight the "pos_locker", but you need to design your own "disarm" as the rail is wrapped by the "blocker". - Spring, 1 piece -- I just simply take out the spring from a ball point pen Have fun and happy afterburning!
