Some users have experienced a fatal damage of their Warthog joystick: [the neck](https://youtu.be/aijs1eMfM-M?t=163) of the stick broke off. In another video, a user suggested the use of [lego bricks](https://youtu.be/f14JD6UwOdc?t=89) to facilitate the transfer of some of the pressure, from the stick to the base. Improving on the lego brick idea, I though of designing this 3D-printable support ring, which can be assembled by plugging two pieces together. In practice, I'm not sure whether a 3D printable part will make sufficiently good contact to perform this purpose effectively, to reduce wear of joystick's neck. Even though it is a very good fit, I observed that the surfaces on the device, where the ring attaches to, are not perfectly flat. Hence, the ring may not take and transfer much of the load/pressure, off the joystick's neck, under normal use. However, it may help prevent catastrophic failure of the joystick's neck, caused by excessive force towards a particular direction. I decided to share my 3D design, in case other users can benefit from it and/or further improve it, at your own risk.
