Thérèse

The grand sculpture "Thérèse" or "Torse of a Naked Woman" was created by Robert Wlérick in 1930-1931, cast in black patina bronze. The mold was made by Valsuani using the lost wax method with an impressive thickness of 5/10. Acquired from Gérard Wlérick in 1986, it is now preserved at the Despiau-Wlérick Museum on Mont de Marsan in southwestern France. Taking a high-quality photograph proved challenging due to numerous reflections on the dark and shiny surface.
