I created this as a part of a project that's main focus was to explore tics and to try to attach functions to repetitive movements that people are subconsciously prone to. I found the most common and widespread tic was the tapping tic. People often tap their fingers or feet while they work or if they are nervous. My main goal was to find a way to attach a function to that movement. I created the finger casement as a sort of ironic twist, The Tic' register records finger tapping as small marks on the surface you’re tapping on.
