So here is a little project I've been working on, Ticket to Ride Colorado. An unofficial fan expansion for Alan Moon classic. You need the base Ticket to Ride to play. 1910 makes it better but not necessary. The files in here are for the Map and for the Tickets/Routes. I used https://www.boardgamesmaker.com/ to get my qty 1 board and cards printed: Standard Matte Laminated (Smooth Finish) Custom Size Game Board Gameboard Length: 785mm, Width: 530mm, (6-Fold) Blank Card In Bridge Size Landscape Game Cards 2.25"X3.5" (57×89mm) (70 Cards) The old Map and routes are PDFs, and are meant to be printed at 100%. If you use Adobe Acrobat (what I use, I'm sure plenty of programs will work) you can cut the pages up so you can print at home. I would suggest card stock, as regular paper is a little too flimsy. All of these are temporary "First" releases, and I'm hoping to get community feedback and will probably be tweaking the routes at least. The map I think is fairly finalized. 3/16/2021 I've uploaded the files with the updated artwork. RULES: Start with 5 Routes keep 3 minimum. Draw 4 keep 1 minimum for the rest of the game. You can play with either longest route or most completed routes or both. Your decision. (I like to do one of them for 1V1 and then for 3 player and up do both) Mountain Routes: You'll notice a few mountain routes. These are routes that pass the continental divide! And here are the rules for passing a mountain route, if you have any better suggestions let me know! Mining for gold! In this version, you play the base amount for a mountain route. So lets say you're going from Denver to Silverthorne, and you play 3 orange. Then, you "Mine for Gold" And call out a color of a card. Cannot pick wild as a color. Draw a card from the top of the deck. If it is the color you called out, you get to KEEP that card. If it is a wild, you do NOT have to pay anymore to keep the route. And if its not the color you called out or a wild, you must pay one more orange (or wild) to get to keep the route. If you cannot pay you lose your turn. Ignore the STL. Thingiverse wont let me publish without it. You just need the PDFs. I claim no association with the actual game, and days of wonder seems to encourage community made maps. https://www.daysofwonder.com/tickettoride/en/fans/
