This was initially developed for CNC milling but then modified for 3D printing. I have to admit that the milled ones do look much nicer, but without a CNC mill in my home shop they can get expensive. If you know a TIE Pilot looking for some new pieces for his or her armor, this may be of use to you. I had the original file CNC machined and then made the tapered tooth file, so the photo is the original non-tapered gear. How I Designed This OT discs, and Fusion 360, and generic red table wine. I have purchased four complete armor kits in order to get one I am happy enough with for 501st approval. These gears, in the aluminum CNC version, along with a real power jack and the knurled knob/ disc will adorn my minimally-demilitarized chest box, in other words kit number five. The work of a Legion trooper is never done.
