A pair of simple stick-out gauges for TIG welding. tig_stickout_3xrod_diameter This is the 4 step gauge. Stickout is 3 times tungsten rod diameter, for standard tungsten rod diameters .040, 1/16, 3/32, and 1/8" (1, 1.6, 2.4, and 3.2mm). tig_stickout_by_cup_87654 This is the five step gauge. Stickout is equal to the ID of the ceramic cup, size 8 to size 8. Cups are sized in 1/16" steps. #8 cup is 8/16", down to #4 at 4/16". I was looking for simple stick out gauges, to keep make setup easier and more consistent after sharpening the tungsten rod. Then it occurred to me I could just print something. Designed in Freecad, clunky but it works.
