Tiki Torch Ground Spike Holder

Tiki Torch Ground Spike Holder

thingiverse

The ground under my lawn is pretty hard so I always need to use a bucket with dirt to hold my tiki torches. I designed this to be inserted into the ground with your foot or hammer and then insert the stick of the tiki torch into the holder. You can leave the spike in all year round and mow your lawn as long as it is in the ground all the way. Quality doesn't matter on this so it took about 1.5 hr to print @ 180mm/s. ABS is recommended but I think PLA will work just as well because it's designed to be tough. The hole is 28mm in diameter. Please use your math skills to adjust the x & y ratio to fit your tiki torch sticks as they are all different sizes. Allow 2mm wiggle room at least. I'll even make it easy for you. [stick diameter (mm) + 2mm] divide by [28mm] = x & y scale ratio to enter into your printing program. CAUTION This print was slightly taller than my printer could handle. Please measure your printer to make sure it can print 150mm high, if not, reduce. If you're not sure, be present when it reaches the end if you don't have an upper z-stop like I do. I am not responsible for any damage caused by operator negligence. ENJOY your outdoor events!
