Timex Ironman Triathalon - Lower Watch Strap

thingiverse

This is a replacement lower watch strap for a Timex Ironman Triathalon digital watch. My original plastic-y rubber lower strap split across from wear/use and eventually broke in half, so I decided to try and print a replacement. This is a modified version of this item ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:627447 ) The width if this strap at the pin end is about 16mm for reference. This DOES NOT need to be printed using flexible filament! The strap is 0.5mm wide, so it is thin enough to be flexible, but thick enough to be durable as long as you don't pull on it too hard! I've worn mine for days now and it's been perfectly fine so far! Instructions Infill isn't terribly important when printing as this item is so thin to start with, however, I printed mine with a 10% infill. As for layer height, I printed mine with a layer height of 0.15 mm. It was printed with 2 shells, and at a speed of 50m/s to make sure the small holes were all accurate. I was using authentic Makerbot "True Black" filament at a temperature of 220 degrees Celcius on a MakerBot Replicator 2.
