Tinkerplay Test

thingiverse

Articulated action figure created with [Tinkerplay](http://www.123dapp.com/tinkerplay). The character body segment files are exported directly from the app's built-in library of interchangeable parts and thus design credit goes to the Autodesk/Tinkerplay team. Exact license terms are unclear but I infer them to be liberal since the point of the app is partly to download and print modified models. I am fairly impressed with the fit and function despite printing at 0.3 mm layer height, which makes some of the ball and socket joints a bit coarse. I doubt the joints will retain their initial firmness after repeated posing, as a few have already become more prone to popping apart, but it is nonetheless clear that these are thoughtfully designed pieces.
