Tintin Submarine

Tintin Submarine

pinshape

Good morning all, I offer you my version of Tintin's submarine. The submarine was designed to be 1 meter long. Being a big fan of tintin since my youngest age, I wanted to make a large submarine, with as much detail as possible. This model therefore measures, 1 meter long, 0.35 meter wide, 0.47 meter high (on its foot 0.42 meter without the foot). In order to be accessible to the majority of commercial machines such as the Prusa Mk3, the Ultimaker 2 or the Ender-3, for example, the submarine is divided into 25 modules not exceeding 200x200x200mm. For the fun side and to avoid painting I chose to cut the submarine according to the colors. The top (black) and bottom (white) modules have mounting studs forming sections. The different sections are to be assembled together using round connectors. Some small parts (when too small) have a hole to allow the use of 1.75mm filament as a connector. The complete assembly requires the use of glue. Every detail has been designed to be easily printed with a Ø0.4mm nozzle, I have done everything to reduce excessive overhang. The .stl files are already oriented to get the best possible result when printing. ► Important note: I plan to include the closed canopy (therefore without interior), as well as a version with a mold to make a transparent canopy. Warning: This is a fan-representation from the animated series "Les Aventure de Tintin" from 1991. Also don't forget to post your achievements, don't hesitate to contact me if necessary.
