See my video on how it performs https://youtu.be/xPryag0--nY I used a simple toy quadcopter for this build (have a lot of them). No fancy speedcontrollers, electronics etc... necessary. Although you could do that. I cut off the ducts and motorholders of the frame and attached everything on the 3d print. This model uses 3.7v small lipos. The quads in the links below are the exact same i used and lipo and controller is included aswell https://www.banggood.com/Eachine-E011-Mini-2_4G-Headless-Mode-With-60000RPM-716-Coreless-Motor-Toy-Brick-RC-Quadcopter-RTF-p-1135724.html?p=GS29073405097201512C&cur_warehouse=CN or https://www.gearbest.com/rc-quadcopters/pp_941588.html?lkid=12159229 If you are using an e011/bwhoop style flightcontroller its best to raise the platform a bit extra with a couple of pieces of doublesided foam tape to easily attach/detach a lipo (also acts as softmount) See my original tinywhoov skirted design (how to make the skirt) https://youtu.be/jqfsrlRTeZk Subscribe to my channel!
