By popular demand! There's a photo in my Ornithopter model, with this in the background.Several people have asked about it - so here it is!The model was really just blocked out, based on a lot of components I had laying around. I'm afraid I don't have links or a BoM for any of it.The Motor was from a hoverboard (with a single axle sticking out one side. I machined the other side flat, tapped a curcular bolt pattern and bolted the other axle + freewheel assembly in place. It used 1/4" pitch chain with laser cut & post machined sprockets. The whole thing worked reasonably well. It could have done with more torsional rigidity though. It was intended to be fully road legal (at the time) - so it could be pedaled along but in practice, it was more of an electric scooter, with pedals. With 5Ah, 36V worth of LiPo batteries, it had a range of about 5 miles with no pedaling. I worked at the time on a huge site - and it was enough for a day or two's worth of zipping around.
