Tiny Sample Spool thingiverse

Tiny Sample Spool

thingiverse flori2099 2040023 Free

Small two piece Spool for your leftovers or Filament samples. (I use it for my samples)

Idea is inspired by Dingoboy71 / Tamel55 (who unfortunately does not provide more data of his spool so i decided to make my own.)

The Spool come in two parts, Male and female, so its easy to print. You have only lay it flat on your print bed with the big diameter. No Raft or Brim should be needed.

The "improved" ones provide better angles on the holes, so you can easy fix your filament ends in the spool (works for 1,75 and 2,85)

Inner Diameter is 52.5mm (~ 2,04inch)
Outer Diameter is approx. 120mm (~4,72inch)
thread = 60x4

Foto = Normal Spool
Picture 2-3 improved one
Picture 4-5 normal one

You can print it with 20% infill - its stiff enough
I used 0.2 Layerheight and 4 Bottom and 5 Top solid layers.
You can also use different colors for the two parts ;-)

Update Juni 2018: Version V9 & V 7 - now it doesnt matter where you put your filament end. You can Stack the Spools Hazzlefree. Both spools are now little ticker, becouse of the Filamentguides. - They need a bit more Filament to print, but it's worth it. - Please note this is not tested with 2,85mm (and i guess it doesnt fit) but it works perfect with 1,75
