Tiny Whoop Battery Holder

Tiny Whoop Battery Holder

thingiverse

This is an original design, done in Fusion 360, which was influenced by countless other battery holders in the Thingiverse. The light bulb really went off after seeing this design by patshead http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2034217 Thank you to patshead and the Tiny Whoop and Thingiverse community for the inspiration to come up with a solution to my needs. I wanted to be able to hold all 24 of my Tiny Whoop batteries and easily be able to tell which were charged vs discharged. I found similar holders to what I finally came up with but nothing that quite fit what I wanted. So I chose to use symmetrical cross pattern slots that I would store batteries in one direction if charged or rotated 90 degrees if discharged. I printed mine in PLA with a 10% infill on my Monoprice MP Select Mini. It turned out plenty strong and solid while still being relatively light weight. This can be used standalone or fit into a custom foam case as I have shown. I'm holding a variety of 205, 220, 255mAh HV batteries and it has worked out really well for me. I hope someone can also find it as useful for them as I have This is my first design I've posted on Thingiverse so I apologize in advance for any mistakes in doing so, or for any flaws in my design.
