A fine gent created a nice alternative for mounting the camera when doing a mullet mod. this style mounts on the camera lens barrel instead of the base. This seems to end up with a lighter mount that's more versatile. I've used it on a bunch of different cameras with success (only one of which was actually a mullet mod). The camera is really in there, too! The original design was just at a reasonable extreme angle for my tastes so I remixed it to be less aggressive. I think this is like 5 degrees or something. Either way the camera will sag a little bit in the mount and, for me, it's perfect. Two designs here: one is pretty much just a lower angle version. The other is the same thing with the top cut off - if you use this you'll need some 3M VHB tape (just a tiny amount) or similar. I used that for both options ... maybe both need it ... The reasoning behind the second design is two fold: With the tape, it's actually kind hard to remove the camera. If you do want to put a canopy on, the tall tabs get in the way, you can just trim them post print :)
