TinyCart v3 - UBR
thingiverse
This is version 3 of a printer that I designed, utilizing very cheap and available 2020 profiles along with perforated steel plates. It's by far the most low-cost solution for small 3D printers that I've encountered. It's suitable for someone who wants to create their first REPRAP due to ease of building, requiring only printed parts. I believe the model is easily scalable (as smooth rods, 2020 extrusions, and perforated plates are needed), but my current setup has a bed with 155mm (X), 160mm (Y) and 200mm Z-axis height. This utilizes: -2x 2020 320mm -2x 2020 350mm -3x 80x240mm perforated plates -2x 8mm 355mm smooth rods -2x 8mm 345mm smooth rods -2x 8mm 280mm smooth rods Electronics: SKR-mini v1.1 (2xLV8729 and 2xDRV8825) 4x Nema 17 stepper motors 30mm fan (hotend) 12v or 24v 70mm fan (electronics) 12v/24v 5012 Blower fan (print cooling) 12v or 24v 1x inductive probe (any NPN or PNP) *Any 12v or 24v 150W (no heated bed) or 240W (with heated bed)* Step-down module (to 5v for inductive probe to work) 2x endstops The BOM regarding printed parts is pretty much self-explanatory, and I'm currently working on compiling the list of other parts. If you need it, you can message me or look up the model of the printer (.step) if needed. At this point, the printer does not have a heated bed, although it's easy to add one. Keep in mind that you'll need to print the bed mount from ABS/ASA then. The design does not contain the extruder (bowden style) - only the hotend (e3d V6) mount for X-carriage. The PSU mount is also not present as it's not attached to the frame.
