TinyG V8 mounting frame

TinyG V8 mounting frame

A mounting frame for the TinyG motion controller with 80mm case fan and 20-series extrusion mounts. Instructions I made the other TinyG frame/case and found it really limiting. You couldn't access any screws or plugs when it was installed and it didn't have any options for actually mounting it to anything, so I thought I would come up with something more useful. As the majority of the TinyG's will be used with CNC routers or 3D printers, it is likely there will be some 20-series extrusion about the place, so I put some mounting holes for attaching to that. As the TinyG loves it some cooling, I put mounts for an 80mm case fan. To allow for ease of access, I made it in an X shape - it doesn't need much lateral strength, the PCB and the fan give it all the strength it will need. You need two parts if you want to mount it and use a fan, otherwise just print one. The frame works as both a top and bottom part.
