TinyWhoop.com Race Gate Stands

I got my TinyWhoop.com Race Gates and, while I LOVED the gates, the stands sucked. So I got creative and came up with these. I really wanted to use the fiberglass poles that came with the gates and take advantage of them since they were pretty nice poles, but I needed to do something with the clamps. The clamps I used are "ACCO 1-1/4" Medium Binder Clips". They were what was available. I am not a clamp connoisseur, I just looked at what they had and picked these. I would think that any inch and a quarter clip would work. I also used a 3M screw in the top to hold the clamp slot closed. I figured most guys who have quads probably had a few laying around since that is the Chinese's favorite size for Mini Quads. The holes in the bottom of the print are for storage. One of the things that I really love about these gates is how nicely they fold up and how little room they take. I tired to do the same with my print. This is made with TPU to allow for the clamp to flex and the poles to grip. Hope you enjoy! KT UPDATE!!! After several requests for a 2 pole version and a bit of testing I have added a 2 pole version. Has the same storage holes (very tight) in the bottom as well. Print Settings Printer: Hacked DaVinci Supports: No Resolution: .3mm layer Infill: 20% Notes: You need to print this in TPU or a flexible material.
