Tip inserted into horizontal bar, designed to slip into bracket mounted underneath slatted, folding, table top. . PLA white and blue . 12/27/2015 Uploaded final files and images of a successful print! They fit just fine... a bit snugger than the originals, which is a good thing! I could have not moved the block inwards so much to create that slot in the larger end, but even with the larger slot, the end holds well to the tubing it goes on. Definitely worked better to go back and recreate the item by starting off with a full-sized cylinder, then 'difference'ing what I needed to remove. What I did originally was to create an upper cylinder, lower cylinder, the 'difference' cylinders(subtracted elements in OpenSCAD)... which caused this to print as units put together rather than one piece. The original prints were weak because of this. Print Settings Printer Brand: SeeMeCNC Printer: ORION Delta 3D Printer Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: Print with skirted end facing up. Basically several cylinders mated together and some 'difference'd out in OpenSCAD. Using a cube, I created the flat spot on the outside of the skirt. This allows the table top to sit flush on the horizontal members and associated tips. The brackets mounted underneath the table top, hold the post end, keeping the top connected to the folding table base. . 12/26/2015 sized up things a tad because the original was coming out just a tiny bit too small in diameter for the inserts. Now I've discovered that this thing is hollow! The peg portion that slips into the table bracket, at least. Perhaps due to the way I created the part with so many different cylinders. . While printing v.2, it fell over almost halfway through the print! Time to step back, take one more look, then print again!
