The coupler found here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3065303 is excellent. The problem with couplers is that they make the inside magazine hard to wind. This tool fits between the two magazines and allows you to wind it in one of two ways. First is simply rotating the wheel. This was my original approach. I'm happy with it but because the radius of where you spin is kind of large while it's much better than by hand it wasn't ideal. Then I got a little more clever and put a hole through it in and attached a yoyo string. Wrap it around 8 times around, insert, and let it rip like a beyblade. Instant winding. While it excels at winding the one on the inside I use it for both or uncoupled magazines as well. It uses 2 5mm M3 hex bolts on the bottom for winding, these bolts also hold the 2 halves together. The two halves made it easier to print.
