This adapter allows an e3D titan extruder or a clone to be assembled directly onto the bearings on various 3D printer models. I fitted it with an insert for an inductive sensor. Its sitting pretty close to the heater block, but I haven't experienced melting. However, to be sure I fitted the heater cartridge with a custom silicone sock. Mirror one belt coupler in your slicer of choice to fit both sides. Design is not perfect and I may make some changes in the future. For now it worked perfectly for me.
