Titanfall 2 Pulse Blade - Electronics Version

Titanfall 2 Pulse Blade - Electronics Version

thingiverse

Everyone's favorite futuristic ninja throwing blade. Designed to fit electronics to simulate the lights and sound effects from the game. The end of the handle closest to the blade is designed to fit an Adafruit Trinket, which runs the electronics in the prop. At the opposite end, there's a hole for a RGB LED or a discrete Neopixel to point outwards and strobe. A chamber behind the LED is sized to fit a piezo buzzer (I specifically used these ones because they are loud and have a good audible range). The middle of the handle has a battery panel sized for four M2 screws, and is designed so you can drop an A23 in a battery holder in there and swap out batteries as needed. Blade is symmetrical, so just print two copies of it and glue them back-to-back; there are small holes for 1.5mm alignment pins, if you want to cut up some brass rod or plastic to make sure you get things joined up right.
