Tobago - 17th Century Anchor

sketchfab

This 17th century anchor is embeded in the reef in Rockley Bay, Tobago - not far from the cannon wreck. The two sites are probably associated, and it is likely that this anchor was deployed and lost during the 1677 Battle of Rockley Bay. An investigation of the underwater heritage site is being led by Dr. Kroum Batchvarov of the University of Connecticut.
