Diameter is 25mm (pipe). Yes, there is a hole in the side. The plastic material in the middle does next to nothing for strenght, but an M6 metal screw 100 mm does. I like to combine different materials in my designs. I printed mine in PLA, but if you like to heat up your heater, PETG would be a better choice. V5 is suited for slightl larger pipes (27,5 mm) and bigger toilet paper rolls.
