Toilet Paper Holder - Octo Design

<p>This is a simple toilet paper holder matching the Octogon design of my other household appliences (lamps).</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p><b>Update 1.10.2020</b> ~ This is a slightly updated design:</p> <ul> <li>The drill holes conform now the "kind of" standard, which commercial products are using.</li> <li>The print file is optimized for a smother surface of the hood and a higher stability of the hinge pole by using modifiers to adapat the infill in zones. Also printing time has been reduced by 1 hour as a sideeffect.</li> </ul><p><b>Notes on printing</b><br/> Printing is simple as far as the components are properly aligned on the heat bed.</p> <p>This print consists of four parts:</p> <ul> <li>The hanger, which is screwed on the wall and holds the roll of toilet paper.</li> <li> The paper stopper, which is clicked into the holder. It prevents the paper from slipping off the pole.</li> <li>The cover, a moveable part, is inserted into the hole in the holder. </li> <li>The cover lock is pressed into the cover pole after it is inserted into the holder. The tolerances of the desigend size are pretty small, so you probably have to sand the nibble a bit to actually be able to press is into the hole. The strenght is intentional- it shall prevent the cover from falling off the holder.</li> </ul><p>At least the paper roll stopper must be printed in PET-G (or similar). With PLA, the clips which click into the hanger break too easily.</p>
