As standard toilet rim cleaning brushes are not firm enough, i decided to build my own. Its just pushed on a standard paint roller with 6mm rod and held in place by friction. I glue on the green 150x100x2mm Scouring Sponge Pads with hot glue. One pad lasts you 3 times. The threads only purpose is to reduce friction for assembly. If it still doesnt fit, scale it to your needs or apply heat to the rod an push it gently in. Its designed for one time usage but should be strong enough to last much longer if it needs to. I recommend a longer paint roller than the one I took.
