Tokens

Tokens

Based on a recommendation, we started using a token system with our children. When they do chores or things we want to encourage, they earn tokens. Tokens can be turned in for privileges or lost if they misbehave. Initially checkers from the dollar store were used, but it quickly became cumbersome as it wasn't intuitive which tokens were used by which child. This is my 3d printed solution. Each token has a child's initial and the colors are more closely aligned to their favorite colors. The tokens have about the same dimensions as the original checkers (23mm diameter, 3mm height, 0.5mm lettering height). The blank token was design in Fusion 360. The letters were added using OpenSCAD as it is simpler to center them there than in 360. Since I only have a single extruder, the second color is added via the M600 command and Prusa's color print utility. I manually move the command farther down in the gcode to improve the print quality of the output. These are my first multi-color prints.
