An Automatic ASCOM Compliant Electronic Focuser for Telescope Astrophotography. This box is designed to fit one Nema 17 stepper motor, along with the electrical components for an electric focuser. The top portion fits a standard 50mm x 70mm prototype board which is more than enough to fit an ardunio nano, a driver, and a voltage regulator. There is a USB mini port on the side, along with a DC plug and a keystone jack. The keystone jack is for accessories like a hand controller and a temperature sensor. The bracket is designed to fit to the bottom of a refractor's focuser with a bolt spacing of 14mm. The box can be fit directly to the focus knob with a coupler, or it can be mounted upside down so that you can use a belt and pulley to reduce the gear ratio. For more information on the electronics, see the Arduino ASCOM Focuser Pro 2: https://sourceforge.net/projects/arduinoascomfocuserpro2diy/ you can use any layout for the keystone jack that you'd like, but I intend to release accessories using the following pattern on the Arduino: 1 - Ground 2 - 5V 3 - D2 (for the temperature probe) 4 - A0 (for push buttons) 5 - A6 (for speed selector) These pins work with the Arduino ASCOM Focuser Pro 2 optional schematics If you intend to run your focuser along with a DIY goto setup, use the OnStep version of the shell. This version is designed to only fit a Nema 17 stepper and a keystone jack, as the other electronics would be in your controller. <img src="https://i.ibb.co/gghQ3HF/Focuser-Schematic-bb.jpg"> --- For more of my 3D printed astronomy equipment, see below: TS-02 Star Tracker - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4839602 TT-02 Tripod - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4868538 TW-01 Latitude Wedge - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4776560 Vixen Dovetail Bars - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4888474
