Tomtom Via 160 in car GPS gimbal mount for universal suction cap type holder

This thing is for a Tomtom Via 160 satnav. It replaces the universal type holders which are sold to hold smartphones and various satnav units. These units are often bulky and fiddly to adjust and don't always hold the device securely. This design comes with a ball adaptor which fits directly into the gimbal of the flexible neck. The ball adaptor is a separate printed part so you can replace it with whatever fixture you might need. I aligned the two parts with a piece of 6mm rod and joined everything with cyanoacrylate (superglue). Instructions The two parts should be printed with the biggest flat side against the build surface. There is no need for support material if you do it this way. You should be able to edit the IGES files if you wish to change the ball mount to something else.
