Tonearm lifter

Tonearm lifter

thingiverse

This is a basic tonearm lifter design for all those record players that are fully automatic (Such as the Pro-Ject series, as well as many others). I designed it because I kept forgetting that I left the needle on the end grooves of the record, and I wanted the needle to lift off when the record was done. It is a work in progress - is too sensitive to set, but not sensitive enough to be activated by the touch of the tonearm every time. It also lifts the tonearm too high for a lid to be on at present, and does so with a bit of a kick. Print both pieces, flat Attach rubber band to end of lifter and bottom cylinder Using glue or (recommended) blutak, stick it to the desired spot on your turntable where you would like the tonearm to be lifted. Set it by pulling the lifter down and forward onto the small lip
