Tony Nutile leads Mark One printer support at MarkForged. To resolve technical issues and test new software and hardware updates, he dedicates a lot of time to printing. This results in two major challenges that need addressing - providing a convenient empty spool for evaluating various continuous carbon fiber samples and a secure storage location for his most-used Mark One tools. To solve these problems, Tony turns on TinkerCAD and designs solutions. Firstly, he creates a nylon spool ideal for testing small amounts of continuous carbon fiber, Kevlar TM, and fiberglass. Secondly, Tony crafts a miniature tool rack that keeps the most frequently used Mark One tools readily accessible - the glue stick, tweezers, allen wrench, and leveling shims.
