UPDATE 5/26/19 I added a similar tool with a rounded-corner square shape. At 0.1 scaling, this is less than 10 mm across the flats, so you will have to scale it to fit your application. ========= ======= ======= A friend asked me if I could replace the camera lens cover in their tablet. There are plenty of these on eBay, and I found a 10 mm lens cover that fit the tablet. You probably don't need a tool to install one of these, but one like this allows you to apply pressure evenly to the outside of the cover so the adhesive makes good contact all around, and it avoids stressing the glass in the center. Applying a little bit of heat before applying pressure may be beneficial. The round one is for a 10 mm cover, but you can scale it somewhat to fit other sizes. I've included the CAD drawing if you want to modify it beyond scaling. The model is 10X size, so scale it to fit. If you have a squarish lens cover, you can adapt the Sketchup file to a square profile by replacing the circle with the pattern that fits the lens cover.
