Tool Rack Form2

Tool Rack Form2

A tool rack that accommodates all of the tools that come included with the Form2 3D Printer from Formlabs. I have also created a removable drip tray that clips in underneath the rack to catch any drips that come off the tools once they have been inserted. The Tray slopes very slightly towards the front so that excessive resin drips would collect towards the front making it easier to see and clean up. I printed this upside down as shown in the screenshot at a resolution of 0.1mm, I would however recommend that you print it the right way up as the supports pit the face of the stand excessively and will require additional finishing. The drip tray is totally optional and does not need to be printed in order to use this stand. It has space for the scraper, pry tool, angled snips, and also the tweezers. Print Settings Printer Brand: Formlabs Printer: Formlabs Form 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.05 Notes: I would recommend printing this in the final orientation, only because I printed it upside down to save on support material, however, because printing upside down means it is an aesthetic face where all of the support structure meets the model it just wrecks the face and needs a ton more post processing and finishing to bring the surface back up to a quality surface; where as if you print it in the correct orientation all the support structure meets the underside so it's less of an issue if the surfaces aren't 100%. Post-Printing Just a bit of a light sanding to remove any support blemishes. There is around about a 0.5mm clearance between the drip tray locking wings and the slots in the stand so it's not too much of a drama to just slot them together, depending on your printer/print settings though it may need a very light sand to get the fit just right.
