Toothpaste Redesign

We were tasked to redesign an object, so I am redesigning the toothpaste tube. As a kid, I had a hard time getting all the toothpaste out of the tube. There would always be some paste left, but I couldn’t get it out so I would just throw it away. However, that would be a waste to throw that out because there can be a way to get the remaining paste out. I want to make it easier to get all the toothpaste out.3D printing my product will make the design easy to produce and take little time to make it. It will be able to make the shape of the toothpaste tube easily and will be able to produce it in a plastic material.I will add a part that the will turn the tube. Once I 3D print my product I’ll test it myself to see if it works efficiently. For the end result, I hope that the product will remove all the paste, making sure no toothpaste is left behind. I have learned that it will take multiple attempts to make a product work to its best ability and measurements play a key factor when developing.
